Freda Tamba is a Chartered Accountant by profession, holder of a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) and an Associate of the Association for Corporate Treasurers – ACT. Freda is a competent and experienced finance leader with oversight over finance, treasury, compliance and regulatory supervision, gained over 30 years in the central bank. She is currently the Director of Financial Conduct Supervision at the Bank of Zambia. A strategic partner in developing long term corporate goals aligned with the institutional mandate and vision. Highly proficient in financial analysis and project evaluation, adding value to corporate objectives by providing expert advice to key stakeholders in finance and compliance. An empathetic leader with the tenacity to consistently enhance financial performance.

She has vast board experience having been a board member of the National Pension Scheme (NAPSA), the Pensions and Insurance Authority (PIA) and the Coffee Board of Zambia.
