Chief Accountant
Johnson Ireri is the Chief Accountant in the Finance Department. Johnson is a seasoned
professional in the field of finance & accounting with over 21 years experience of which at
least six of them have been in management level at Kenya Reinsurance corporation.
Johnson holds a master’s in business administration and a Bachelor of Commerce degree
(Accounting option) from the University of Nairobi. Also, a qualified Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) and a Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) holder.
He is well-versed in international financial reporting standards, including IFRS 17 and IFRS
9, and has strong knowledge of computerized accounting systems, particularly Oracle EBS
and SICS reinsurance system.
